Live band karaoke takes off at Northern Lights Lounge:

If you love karaoke, you have to check out Rock ‘n’ Roulette, a live karaoke band. So far they are booked at Northern Lights Lounge in Detroit the last Sunday of every month, but I have a feeling they’re going to become quite popular in the area. Check out the story at DetroitNews.com.

Woodward Imperial is set to open soon in Ferndale. The bar, which is located where the Post bar used to be, will offer simple, street-style tacos. I was hanging out next door at Danny’s Irish Pub recently and noticed the Imperial’s sign was up. Peeking in the windows, it looks clean, fresh and ready for business. One of the owners, Amir Daiza said they should know next week when the bar will open.
